the matcha powder

Finely ground Japanese green tea powder (70 g). Creamy, intense, and full of vibrant, green energy. Well suited as Culinary Grade for matcha lattes, baking, and other matcha-based sweets. High-quality teas are carefully cultivated and expertly refined, for the perfect green matcha.

Preparation
  1. Add 1 teaspoon (2 chashaku, bamboo spoons) of matcha powder to a matcha bowl (chawan).
  2. Pour 100 ml (1 Hishaku, bamboo ladle) of 80-90°C (176-194°F) water over the powder.
  3. Mix it vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until it is frothy.
  4. Enjoy your matcha moment.
